Human Dimensions of Urban Forestry and Urban Greening

In urbanized settings, the lives of people are intertwined with natural environments and urban ecosystems. Traditional ecological science has, for the most part, not included human behavior as an integral study. This research program is exploring how people in cities and communities benefit from being involved in environmental projects, how urban ecosystems benefit communities, and how to encourage conservation behavior.
